Commercial Proposal in the 1980s, “Money making building” but this failed due to a market crash and a conservation solution was proposed. Circa ¾ of a million Visitors a year. Features education rooms for crafts such as joinery, a practice the building was originally intended to be used for. It was suggested the Mary Rose was to be displayed inside. Roof/Ceiling was designed to incorporate north light, with the triangle aspects. “The civilian workforce is the permanent spirit of the dockyard”
