Scott is a writer, director, and theatre-maker, based in South-East Hampshire. Over the last 35 years he has created and presented work around the globe, working with companies such as New Theatre Royal Portsmouth, Phoenix Dance Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Chester Gateway, English Touring Theatre, the National Theatre, the BBC, Grampian TV, and over 70 independent arts venues, nationally and internationally.

Scott is currently Director of People and Stories, an innovative performative arts company, operating from Fort Widley in Hampshire. He has written numerous shows locally in recent years, including four productions for the New Theatre Royal, and community tours of UNDERTOW:1982, The Adventures of Florence and the Mermaid's Tears, and Christmas Comes but Twice a Year.
